March 6, 2021. People ask my landlady, why do you let a dog write your blog? Readers want to know about the writer, they say, not the writer’s jittery greyhound. The answer is simple. This particular writer is bashful, publicity-shy, prone to making irrational comments which she later denies, typical writer wrongdoing. And look into my amber eyes. What do you see? Not just a hound. A publicity hound. I adore attention, I love people, I am fascinated by them and the feeling is mutual. So ask me anything. I prefer questions about myself, but with my landlady’s book, Escape Routes, coming out, I expect there will be questions about her. I’ll answer them too. Will we tell her?
